Your artist will tell you plainly what is possible: what can be fully covered, what needs one lightening session first, and what could become a rework that keeps the bones and fixes the rest. Darker, larger designs cover best; delicate cover-ups over heavy black rarely hold.
Bring two or three reference images of the direction you want, wear clothing that exposes the area comfortably, and allow 20 minutes. You leave with a plan, a session count, and a fixed quote — booked whenever you are ready.
